About designer Johan Röstwall:

Johan Röstwall is a Sweden based artist and designer with the world as his work studio. He mixes design, illustration and art as if they were ingredients in a cake, roams through a world of volume and colors and creates art out of chaos and coincidence.

Johan has studied art, graphic design and animation in both Sweden and the US and has since 2004 worked with clients such as IKEA, Skype, Procter & Gamble just to mention a few. He works as well with the computer as he does with a pencil, but claims that his imagination is his greatest tool. His work has been shown in Paris, Singapore  – and now here on sofiatalvik.com.

Free gig at Berlin Bar

Me and my guitarist Marcus will rock the casbah at Berlin Bar, Skånegatan in Stockholm on Tuesday September 29th.

No admission, but the place tends to get packed so come early if you want a good spot. We’ll also have a special guest star for the evening. Don’t miss it!

Sofia Talvik’s julmys på Mosebacke

I’ll be doing three Christmas shows in Stockholm in December. Information in Swedish below:

Cornelisrummet, Mosebacke - 5, 6, 12 Dec 2009 – kl. 19:00
Passa på att besöka en annorlunda julkonsert i år! Singer/songwritern Sofia Talvik är känd för att bjuda sina fans på en gratis jullåt varje år och i december kan man dessutom njuta av dessa live på Mosebacke. Traditionella och otraditionella jullåtar blandas med Sofias egna när hon och hennes band bjuder in till julmys i Cornelisrummet. En hemlig gästartist utlovas också till vardera av konserterna, samt glögg och pepparkakor.
Cornelisrummet tar bara 50 personer så passa på att förboka dina biljetter nu. Pris 150kr.

I have an exciting fall ahead of me. My album Jonestown is being released in the US, Canada and Japan at the end of October and I have a lot of fun gigs coming up both in Sweden and in the US.
