My web strategy!
I don’t know why, but it seems like all other Swedish artists are veeeery slow on catching on to new things like micro blogging and other web related stuff (probably because they’re signed to major labels that consists of old dull men who are afraid of internet)…Â I mean seems like American artists and actors catch on, for instance I’m following David Hewlett (Stargate Atlantis) and Greg Grunberg (Heroes) on twitter.
I’ve recently started an micro blog in Swedish on http://sofiatalvik.bloggy.se and the site internetredaktörerna has just published an article about my web strategy and how I work with internet for promotion purpose.

New exciting B-side track!!
I’ve just released the song “Jonestown” as the last single from my album. As it’s the last one I wanted to make it extra special, so I added a B-side to it. It’s the album track “Summer Ended Yesterday” but in a completely different version than the one on the album. And to make it extra special I’m releasing it on Klicktrack.com so cheap it’s practically for free. Get it now!
Some good new music
I don’t buy music that often, especially not now that I have spotify. But I actually bought an album today, and it was bloody hard to find it. You see I saw the movie “Ghost town” a while ago and heard a song I really liked. It turned out to be Mason Jennings “Which way your heart will go” from the album “Boneclouds”. I tried his website and I tried iTunes. I’m not a fan of Amazon as nothing ever seems to be delivered when I order from them so finally through Last.fm I found a digital download site who distributed this album. It actually inspired me to write a song as I didn’t quite catch the lyrics at first and thought he sang something else which I later used in my song
I also want to share this beautiful video with you, and the music isn’t half bad either. When I find the album I just might buy it too…

I’m Obamified!
When we played at the Lollapalooza last summer my band got a guided tour of the Obama office in Chicago. When they were there they each got a copy of that great red and blue poster. I was tied up in interviews after the gig and couldn’t come with them and unfortunately they didn’t grab an extra poster for me, so now I had to make my own. So can you at www.obamiconme.com
